Day before planned vacation has gone wrong

So, I was planning to take a week’s vacation from Tuesday to next Monday, so that I would work from home on Monday with no office work. However, my plan got rebuked by one of my teammates, as he wanted me to take a session for the entire team about some topics related to the team or work. Initially I was hesitant about taking the session and later on I was forced to a certain extent to go on with the session. I almost got pissed off wanted to say NO to him, however still my promotion was due, I was little hesitant about my tone and language. I accepted the invitation for the session, and I had no other option other than to work on Monday, the day before my long vacation and my entire vacation plan was spoiled. Now, I had to make a simple deck to detail the slides and approach I followed for one of the proposals I had worked earlier. I felt little bit nervous since, the approach was framed a year back and I almost forgot about the entire process and had to read through documents again to gain exposure about the approach.
