How kids education is ruined with usage of mobile devices

The COVID situation has not only changed the life of most IT professionals, but it has also changed lives for most young children with their classes happening in online and exams/internals has turned virtual. With these changes it has now become a necessity for young children to have their own mobile devices, however following are the concerns related to it.
  • Addiction to mobile games: By provide individual mobile phones to young children, it has become exceedingly difficult for the parents to monitor their kids all the time and sometimes it has become exceedingly difficult to identify whether the kids are attending classes or playing games with their friends. If one kid learns to play a new game, then it spreads like wildfire among kids and they wanted to give it a try the very next moment and as a parent, it turns to be an extremely complicated situation to say NO and left with no other option but to let them play.
  • Unrated and unwanted ads in android phones: Android phones have become the most affordable and technically viable option for most kids while attending their online classes. However, most android phones have lot of in-built applications and most times these apps provide unrated and unwanted ads as notifications. With kids using the phones, these unwanted ads often cause embarrassments and inserts unwanted thinking to kids' mind.
The concerns of giving individual mobile phones to kids does not stop with above points and has lots of disadvantages. I will detail further disadvantages in the upcoming blog posts published in G R Team Sites.
